We are situated in the heart of a small picturesque town called Buje, perched on the hilltop. This medieval settlement offers authentic scenery and unforgettable vistas. It is a calm place witch alowes you to enjoy the real beauty of Istria. Located in the nort-west of Istria were you can spend your time in a non crowded place but still have the privilege of beeing very close to the sea (12 minutes apart). It is a place also known for the Parenzana biking route. The route was named after a famous railroad, which connected Istria with the interior of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Poreč with Trieste, in the early 20th century.

Speleology lovers will be able to meet the mystical world of nature which has been developing for thousands of years, far away from the light of the day and the human in the Baredine Cave, near Nova Vas. While not far from Brtonigla, there is the entrance to one of the largest underground halls in Istria, which is rich with various flowstones and high stalagmites which give a special charm to the Mramornica cave. The Višnjan Observatory, only 3km from Višnjan, will give you an unforgettable view of the celestial bodies. Just few minutes from Buje, over the valley of the Dragonja River, you will be able to enjoy the charms of the Rota Castle of Momjan. Also, in the vicinity of Buje there is a small Istrian town Grožnjan, known as the ‘City of Artists’, which delights every visitor with galleries and artistic charm.
